XINTAO 99.5% High Alumina Ceramic Balls are comparable to BASF T-162 Tabular Alumina Balls in performance and quality.
The chemical composition of XINTAO 99.5% High Alumina Support Media consists of 99.5% or higher alpha alumina and a maximum of 0.15 wt% SiO₂. Due to its high alumina content and low silica level, it is an excellent and ideal product for high-temperature and steam applications, such as secondary reformers in ammonia processing, where silica leaching could coat downstream equipment or contaminate the catalyst bed.
XINTAO 99.5% High Alumina Support Media exhibits outstanding thermal properties, including high density and a resistance temperature of up to 1800°C, making it an ideal choice for heat retention or as deceleration media.
Thanks to its superior chemical resistance, it is also well-suited for use in olefin processes, such as ethylene dryers, where polymerization issues may arise.
