Introduction of Packing Tower

The packing tower is one type of tower equipment. The column will be filled with appropriate height of packing materials to increase the contact surface between two fluids. For example, when applied to gas absorption, liquid enters through the distributor from the upper portion of the tower and descends along the surface of the filler.

The gas flows countercurrently from the lower part of the column through the pores of the packing and interacts in close contact with the liquid. The structure is simpler and the maintenance is more convenient. Widely used in gas absorption, distillation, extraction and other operations.
